We encourage you to visit the log-in section of National HQ’s website, which also contains many helpful resources including online membership management, electronic submission of annual election reporting forms, VFW program promotional items and VFW products through the VFW Emblem and Supply Store.
All Posts should have several copies of the latest National By-Laws and Manual of Procedure. You can order copies through VFW Supply or by contacting State HQ (same price applies).
VFW Scam Alert
There is a company contacting VFW members saying that the VFW (or Your Post) has won a 2011 Best of Hamlet Award in the Fraternal Associations category by the US Commerce Association (USCA), and that you can order a copy of the award. THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT TAKE ACTION ON THIS FRAUDULANT EMAIL. Here’s part of the scam email:
“I am pleased to announce that Veterans Of Foreign Wars has been selected for the 2011 Best of Hamlet Award in the Fraternal Associations category by the US Commerce Association (USCA). I’m sure that your selection as a 2011 Award Winner is a reflection of the hard work of not only yourself, but of many people that have supported your business and contributed to the subsequent success of your organization. Congratulations on your selection to such an elite group of small businesses. … Your Award Code is: C86-MTY3-GPP. To place your order over the phone – please call us at: 646-355-0637 and select option 1. AGAIN, DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL.
