New Site Navigation is Easy posted by Ben on August 9th, 2011
State HQ invites you to take a tour of our new Department website. We designed it for easy navigation and a quick delivery of information. Everything you liked about the Department’s previous website is found here, plus we’ve added new interactive tools and a few entertaining elements.
Focusing on the VFW’s mission, the “Serving Others” menu leads to all program details about how the Department helps veterans, the troops, youth and communities. “Communications” gives users access to our print and online news and social networking outlets. The “Membership” section outlines who can join, the value of joining, member testimonials, recruiting ideas, support materials, the “She Serves” program, how to locate a VFW post and directions on how to join.
The “District/Post Tools” section contains all forms, bond information, Chaplain materials and other frequently used items. Users can read National HQ’s “Checkpoint” newsletter to learn how posts in other states perform their mission. Veterans from all service eras will find the “Resources” section helpful when researching key issues.
We hope you agree that this site brings the PA VFW’s mission, programs and activities to life online. Come back often, save this site as a “Favorite” and tell others to visit. Email questions or comments to dsandman@vfwpahq.org.
